This time I want to write about birthday. What is the meaning of birthday, why it seems birthday become so special ? why do the birthday boy/girl need to blow up the candle ? well can somebody answer my question ? emm let see . .

He says that birthday need to be celebrate with his closest person, who ??? don’t know, you can ask him directly
Elisa says : just as a point of time -à artinya emmm . . .dia aja bingung, apalagi gue ?
Astrid says : emm buat gue, ulang tahun itu artinya bersyukur. (titik) à trus gue Tanya, maksudnya ? then she answered, ya gitu aja ! dia aja bingung, apalagi gue ??? *tepok jidat*
Maria bilang : ulang taun itu tambah tua pasti, tp tambah dewasa itu pilihan, jd ulang taun artinya instrospeksi untuk menjadi lebih dewasa.. (no comment ah, soalnya nyinggung umur) ^_^ im getting old nieh =)
In my humble opinion, a birthday consist of two words : birth and day, it means, one year ago, two years ago, three years ago or even twenty, fifty years ago I was, we were born, it’s a day to remember that we are getting older, and commonly should be better than the previous, just it ! but for somebody outhere, birthday become so special then he/she will spend a lot of money to celebrate, instead of using the money for more important things.
There’s a lot of birthday celebration that I have seen or attend either only personal party or big celebration, but commonly they’re all the same, the way they celebrate it ! Cakes, gifts, food, beverages, candle blow up etc . . until one day, when I was on my business trip in SG, when I and my BD colleagues were having dinner in Brazillian Restaurant, it seems the chefs were really ‘import’ from brazil, and of course the taste of the food really soooo brazil, emmm (mau lagi . . .loh????) very nice food ! (loh kok jadi ngomongin makanan ??) ^_^ and they were keep serving the guesses, offering food, more and more . . chicken sir ? , pork sir ? , beef sir ?? you want another beer sir ??bla . . bla . . bla . . until one moment they’re stop serving and all of the employees grab the tradisional music instrument and then sang a ‘birthday song’ in brazillian language ,then to English version wooow, very ‘cool ! unfortunately I don’t bring my handycam. If somebody sing for you on your birthday along with normal band (drum, guitar, bass etc) it so common, but this one, the sing for you with traditional brazzilian music instrument, this very impressed me !
Back few years ago, exactly emm maybe 23 years ago, when I was in 1st grade in Elementary school, I was the birthday boy, my mom bring the cake, and the teacher at the moment, mam berhitu, asked me to stand in front of the class, and the class will sing the happy birth day for me. See the photo below (man I still keep the photo until now) yah namanya juga kenang-kenangan !
So for me, first thing to do in my birthday is, praying to say thank you Lord Jesus for you every blessing, guidance and everything that you have gave in my life and then will give my wishes list (dasar manusia, bisanya hanya meminta . . . ) walopun akan ditutup dengan kata : Thy will, will be done, Amien !
